A Presidential Site
Growing Up in West Texas in the Post WWII Years
From November 1951 through December 1955, this house at 1412 W. Ohio in Midland, Texas was the home of two future presidents, two governors and a future first lady. The faithfully restored 1,200 square foot bungalow is the nation's first 1950s Presidential Site. Graphics, artifacts, and video programs present the story of a young family in a small, but growing, Texas town.
